Anita and Ian scraped all their big wedding day plans and traded it all in for a simple and romantic city hall elopement in Toronto.

I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen two people laugh so much on their wedding day, no, or any day! I met them at the Shangri-La hotel on a Tuesday afternoon and watched as they two laughed their way through getting ready, cue Ian teaching Anita how to knot his tie, and Ian patiently doing up all the lace buttons on Anita’s top. We hopped in an uber and made our way to City Hall where they were met and surprised by a handful of friends to witness their vows. We ran outside to snap a few photos afterwards and were surprised with a 5 minute blizzard! It ended up being perfect photos and as soon as it was done, so were we. We grabbed a taxi and met their friends at Lena on Yonge Street for bubbly and churros!

Thank you Anita and Ian for being genuine and unapologetically you! I loved capturing your special city hall elopement! xo
