Jamaica held a special place in Lisa and Dan’s hearts, so it was only fitting that they brought 20 of their closest family members and friends from the UK to celebrate their Jamaica wedding
I was fortunate enough to head down to Royalton Blue Waters in Montego Bay for 3 days to capture their wedding celebration! Lisa and Dan really wanted to maximize their time on the wedding day and spend as much of it celebrating with their families that they decided to do a morning after sunrise session! Although I thought getting up at 5am to catch the perfect sky before sunrise was going to be torture – I am NOT a morning person- man oh man was it worth it! The air was warm, but not too hot, there was a good breeze and not a person on the beach to compete with!
Lisa and Dan wandered the quiet shoreline chatting about last night’s fun, acquired a few friendly dogs and released a lantern with a love quote. Just as I love first look photo sessions, where there feels like no stress and the couple takes a moment together to reflect, share excitement and get their nerves out, this was even better!
The wedding day had already passed and this photo session time seemed to be a perfect moment to really reflect and take in all that had happened over the course of the last few days in pulling together everything for their Jamaica wedding.
